Indian River Colony Club is a gated, active adult community (55+) ideally situated in Viera. Initially created for retired military members and their spouses. Indian River Colony Club is a Florida chartered not-for-profit corporation owned by its members --with debt-free amenities. Its 771 homes sites are wrapped around a manicured 18-hole private golf course, where residents are spoiled with stunning views of the verdant rolling grounds, glistening lake and conservation areas.

Offering resort-style living, the single family homes are 500-1,000 square feet with prices beginning in the $100,000s. Residents experience 24-hour manned security, appliance repairs, interior / exterior maintenance, pest control, etc. for a monthly fee based on the size of the residence, which is also used to defray operating expenses.Indian River Colony Club's Board of Directors, comprised of seven of its residents, are the ones who determine the community's fees. Additionally, the board sets standards, goals and works with a professional manager.

With over 160-acres of recreational activities offered, residents are never bored and enjoy a packed social calendar. There is a list of sports to enjoy, including golf on their challenging 18-hole course. IRCC's has men's and ladies' associations with separate leagues. There is also a pro shop. Tennis is another sport that residents and members regularly partake in at one of the three first-rate Har-Tru tennis courts. (Unlimited golf and tennis is included with resident's first year membership.)

The 3,000 square foot heated resort-style pool is another impressive feature that residents thoroughly enjoy. Surrounded by swaying palm fronds and lined with relaxing reclining lounge chairs, the pool area is a tranquil, tropical refuge. Great for exercise, residents can participate in Aquacize (water aerobics) or swim laps in the refreshing water. Their state-of-the-art fitness facility boasts cardio machines and weights to help residents stay fit, strong and healthy. They also have fun Step 'N Stretch classes too. The scenic walking paths are great for those looking to take a jog while enjoying the subdivision's stunning, natural resources. Fishing is also available at their catch and release ponds and lakes.
